It’s another amazing month, and this time Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC) will be holding three special events. These would include a color presentation with Sherwin Williams and an Art 4 Autism artist reception on October 6, as well as a women’s educational and networking event on October 26. For color enthusiasts, LVDC will be hosting the Sherwin-Williams Colormix 2024 seminar, presented by Laurie Clark.

She is a senior designer and account executive at Sherwin-Williams who will share her expertise on the latest biennial color trends. Prepare to be dazzled as she distills large-scale trend stories into individual colors that have been carefully curated into four key chromatic families.

Art 4 Autism exhibition

And just before you think you’ve seen it all, you can be thrilled to know that LVDC has an Autism community back in mind. For example, LVDC will be hosting a Champagne Artist Reception on October 6 to celebrate the conclusion of its third annual edition of the Art 4 Autism exhibition. It is not just a celebration but also a fundraiser lasting the entire month.

The event partners with Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) and features custom art pieces created by individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These unique works of art are currently available for auction, with 50% of proceeds going to FEAT and the other 50% directly supporting the artists.

Annual women’s event

For the 26th of October in the year, LVDC plans to hold its second annual women’s event, as mentioned above. The event is a collaboration with Chic Compass Magazine, known as “Women of Las Vegas | The Game Changers.” This program will honor the outstanding women who are leading the way in innovation, promoting growth, and shaping the future of business in Las Vegas. Key components will include panel discussions, networking opportunities, a business showcase, and community building – all centered around empowering, inspiring, and promoting equality and inclusivity.

October will be a month-long commemoration with LVDC brands hosting weekly Tuesday Lunch sessions for interior designers and their clients. The event will continue until the end of Fall, with one brand providing lunch per week at noon.
