ABA Therapy
for children in Las Vegas
Nevada Autism Center provides individualized, center-based ABA therapy for children in Las Vegas. Our BCBAs develop personalized treatment programs, while trained RBTs provide one-on-one support under clinical supervision. Therapy is designed around to serve individual needs of each child with Autism and may focus on communication, social interaction, adaptive skills, school readiness, and greater independence in everyday life.

ABA Assessments
Our BCBAs assess each child’s strengths, needs, skills, and behavior patterns to help develop an individualized ABA treatment plan.

1:1 ABA therapy
Children receive individualized one-on-one ABA therapy focused on meaningful goals such as communication, social skills, independence, and daily living skills.

Social Skills
Children practice communication, play, cooperation, and peer interaction in structured and natural social settings with support from our clinical team.

Parent & Family Guidance
Families are active partners in treatment. We help parents and caregivers understand therapy goals and support the development of skills outside the center.

ABA therapy can help children develop practical skills for greater independence, including routines, self-care, communication, and other everyday activities.

We help children build skills that can support success in school, including following routines, communicating needs, participating in group activities, and increasing independence.

What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that uses principles of learning and behavior to help individuals develop meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that may interfere with learning, communication, safety, or everyday life.
ABA professionals often examine behavior using the ABC model — Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence. This means looking at what happens before a behavior occurs, what the behavior looks like, and what happens immediately afterward. Understanding these patterns can help a BCBA determine why a behavior may be occurring and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) play a central role in our Las Vegas ABA therapy center. BCBAs complete graduate-level education, supervised fieldwork, and a professional certification examination administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. They assess each child’s needs, develop individualized treatment goals and behavior-support plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as treatment progresses.
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work directly with clients under appropriate supervision and help implement the programs developed by the BCBA. At Nevada Autism Center, BCBAs and RBTs work together so that each child’s therapy remains individualized, measurable, and responsive to their progress.
Positive reinforcement is an important part of ABA therapy. Reinforcers are selected based on the individual child and may include access to a preferred activity, toy, game, music, movement activity, social interaction, or another experience that is meaningful to that child.
By pairing learning with positive and motivating experiences, Applied Behavior Analysis therapy can help children practice new skills, increase independence, and build behaviors that are useful in everyday life.

Center-Based ABA Therapy
Nevada Autism Center has a strong focus on center-based ABA therapy at our Las Vegas clinic. A center-based setting can provide children with a structured environment designed specifically for learning, social interaction, skill development, and greater independence.
Research has found that some children receiving center-based ABA services demonstrated higher rates of skill mastery than children receiving comparable home-based services. Treatment setting is only one factor in a child’s progress, however, and recommendations should always be based on the individual needs of the child and family.

- Opportunities for social interaction — Children may have opportunities to practice communication, play, turn-taking, and other social skills with peers.
- Clinical support on site — Working in a center can make it easier for BCBAs and RBTs to collaborate, observe treatment, and support consistent implementation of programs.
- A structured learning environment — Therapy spaces can be arranged specifically for teaching, play, communication, daily-living skills, and other individualized goals.
- Generalization of skills — Children can practice learned skills with different people, materials, and settings so those skills are more likely to be useful outside an individual therapy session.

Community-Based ABA Services
ABA skills are most valuable when children can use them beyond the therapy room. When clinically appropriate, Nevada Autism Center may support children in community or other natural settings so they can practice communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills in everyday situations.
For school-age children, ABA professionals may also collaborate with parents, educators, and other members of the child’s care team to support consistency across environments.
