It’s another year to look forward to the amazing visual arts programs that the Life Is Beautiful Festival has to bring to the table. For those coming across this popular festival for the first time, it’s a tradition that has been ongoing for years and has brought significant changes to Downtown Las Vegas. At the core of the festival’s visual arts program are talented local artists, as well as renowned visiting artists.

What’s more amazing is that Autism awareness is also blended into this year’s festival. So it’s not just about celebrating art, but also appreciating the lives of children on the spectrum. In this festival for example, Paints With Care is teaming up with Families for Effective Autism Treatment (F.E.A.T.) to showcase amazing art created by young artists with Autism.

It’s really heartwarming to see children’s creative expressions being incorporated into the overall concept and design of the festival.

Partnerships

And just when you think that would be amazing for the Autism community, there will be an installation called “Cherry Lake”, which will transport you back to the colorful and dreamy vibes of the 1980s. This piece, curated by Neon Saltwater in partnership with LIB’s longtime art partner Justkids, is set to be another stunning addition to the festival’s already impressive lineup of visual arts.

Moreover, the festival will also feature street signs with positive affirmations by Scott Froschauer, spreading messages of hope and inspiration. And again, for those unfamiliar with Scott Froschauer’s work, he creates road sign symbols, but instead of instructions such as “Do not enter”, he uses homely positive phrases like “You are exactly where you need to be”.

So basically, the warning sounds a little more like encouragement. How cool is that? Another interactive art installation that will capture the audience’s attention is “Notes to Strangers” by Andy Leek.

Again, for those unfamiliar with his work, Andy Leek has been placing uplifting handwritten notes in public spaces to spread positivity and kindness. Not just a note but a handwritten note that can make anyone’s day. For example, “To friends I haven’t met yet, you are loved.”

More Features

And just when you thought that’s enough, there’s more! The festival will also showcase some amazing and unique art pieces by Mila May. Mila May is creating exclusive beer cans for Big Dog’s Brewing Company that will only be available during the festival. And let’s not forget Color Punch Creative, who will dazzle us with their one-of-a-kind kaleidoscopic designs integrated into the fabric of the festival.

The incorporation of these diverse forms of art not only adds a visual aesthetic to the festival but also promotes inclusivity and acceptance. It showcases the talents and creativity of individuals with Autism as well as promotes a positive message of hope and love.

As the festival celebrates diversity, Nevada Autism Center is also dedicated to treatment, advocacy, and support for individuals with Autism. For quality services, therapy and support for individuals with Autism, Nevada Autism is the go-to organization in Nevada.
