Father’s Day is that special time when we pause to celebrate the love, patience, and quiet strength fathers show their families every single day.

For Martin Nievera, the man they call the Concert King, this year’s celebration brought back some especially sweet reflections on fatherhood, the joys, the challenges, and the moments that make it all worthwhile with his three sons.

A Proud Moment in the Spotlight

When asked about his proudest fatherhood memory, Martin didn’t hesitate. While he has plenty of cherished moments, one stands out: the unforgettable time he performed with all his boys at the “Sing Out For Autism” event in Las Vegas.

“Being onstage with all my children—Santino on drums, Ram singing with me, and Robin on guitar and vocals,” Martin recalled with a big smile. “It was something else.”

That performance wasn’t just about the music. It was about seeing his sons shining beside him, showcasing their talents and, more importantly, the strong bond they share. For families who have a child with autism, moments like these, full of real inclusion, creativity, and happy time spent together, mean everything.

The Simple Joys Matter Most

Of course, not every special memory needs a stage and lights. When asked about their favorite way to bond, Martin gave a wonderfully down-to-earth answer.

“Eating pizza and probably watching a Marvel movie,” he said with a grin.

There’s something special about those easy, everyday moments. Just hanging out, laughing, and letting everyone breathe a little. For parents raising kids with autism, these laid-back routines are more than just nice—they help melt away stress and pull families closer together.

Music Power

Music has that same power. Take Sing Out For Autism, for example. It’s the kind of event where you actually see music connecting people.

When Martin and his sons start singing and playing, you can feel their happiness ripple through the room. They’re supporting each other, really enjoying the moment. That’s what the arts bring to the table: a boost of confidence, a shot of joy, and a gentle nudge to let everyone be themselves.

At Nevada Autism, we witness this kind of magic all the time. We offer support tailored to each child, helping autistic kids build skills, grow their confidence, and connect with the people around them.

Cherishing Family Every Day in Las Vegas

Martin’s stories really get to the heart of what being a dad feels like. Loads of pride and love, even when things aren’t always easy. It doesn’t matter whether it’s wild, energetic moments or just hanging out quietly at home; that parent-child connection remains a real source of strength and happiness.
