Viral TikTok Video Shows Pure Kindness and Special Interests Coming Together
A touching video of a 5-year-old girl on the autism spectrum has captured hearts worldwide after she asked her mother to play a Noah Kahan song for a worm she found and named Mira.
Caroline, who lives south of Chicago, is known by her family for her deep empathy toward all living creatures. From animals to bugs and “all of earth’s little creatures.” Her grandmother, Amanda, describes how Caroline treats every small being with genuine love and kindness.
While playing outside one afternoon, Caroline gently held the worm and made a sweet request: “Can we put on Noah Kahan for my worm?” When her mom asked which song, the little girl replied with lyrics from “Orange Juice”: “Orange juice in the kitchen, bought for the children.”
Her grandmother posted the innocent moment on TikTok, expecting only friends and family to see it. Instead, the video quickly went viral, with thousands of viewers tagging singer Noah Kahan in the comments.
Noah Kahan’s Playful Response
The folk-pop star eventually saw the video and replied with a humorous comment: “Those worms are gonna have some complicated feelings.”
The family was overjoyed. Amanda said she felt like she had “won the lottery” when she saw Kahan’s response. She even woke up the entire house to share the exciting news.
The wholesome clip has been praised for bringing a moment of pure joy and kindness during a time when many people feel overwhelmed by negativity online. Amanda hopes the video gives viewers a gentle pause to smile at something innocent and heartfelt.
