Autism Awareness and support are integral parts of Matt Stout’s philanthropic endeavors, which he plans to further through the famed Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) this summer during the highly anticipated World Series of Poker (WSOP). Over the next month, CSOP will hold three events at The Sterling Club—a prestigious country club located near Las Vegas’ iconic Strip—to raise funds for various charitable causes.
If you’re an avid poker player, you can join in on the action. The entry fee is $300. The top player will walk away with a cash prize of $5,000, while there are also generous donations worth up to $9,000 to be distributed among other participants.
Time and Date
For those enquiring about the date and time, the will kick off at 5:30 p.m., with the poker tournament commencing at 7:00 p.m. on June 13. The funds raised through the CSOP will go towards supporting Three Square – a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals to those facing financial struggles.
If that’s not enough, keep in mind that a second event will be held at the Stirling Club on June 14. It will benefit Cops 4 Kids, an incredible mentorship program that brings together police officers and young individuals within the community. The entry fee and start times for this event will mirror those of the previous charity tournament and the third event.
July’s event
July also brings the highly anticipated third event in this charitable series, held on July 3 at the Stirling Club. This event is dedicated to raising funds for the renowned Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on protecting and preserving animal and wildlife habitats. Proceeds will support actress Shannon Elizabeth’s foundation and noble cause.
All the festivities commence with a sophisticated cocktail reception, allowing guests to socialize. There’s also the opportunity to participate in an Auction, where exclusive and valuable items will be up for grabs. The proceeds will also go towards various charities.
