If you’re a teacher, you’ve probably noticed—more and more kids are being diagnosed. In some classrooms, it’s one in every few children. It’s not something happening “out there” anymore—it’s part of everyday life for so many families, maybe even your own.

And while awareness is growing, it can still be challenging to find enjoyable activities that feel right for our kids. That’s why this special event is such a gift:

Blue Man Group

Blue Man Group is doing a sensory-friendly performance—made just for kids (and adults) who experience the world a little differently.

This version of their show features softer sounds, dimmed lights, and a relaxed, judgment-free space. It will take place on Sunday, June 29 at 2 p.m. at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Tickets are $36 and available at Blueman.com.

Even better, most of the money goes to Grant a Gift Autism Foundation, which supports families living with autism and other neurodivergent needs here in Southern Nevada.

Some thoughtful changes

To help make the show more comfortable for everyone, Blue Man Group is making some thoughtful changes:

Sound and lighting will be adjusted at certain moments to prevent it from being too overwhelming.
The Blue Men will keep audience interaction to a minimum, so there will be no surprises or spotlights on guests.
A quiet space will be set up outside the theater for anyone who needs a calm break.
Earplugs will be available, and families are welcome to bring their headphones if that helps.

The full show runs approximately 90 minutes, and it’s designed to accommodate both kids and adults with sensory sensitivities, allowing them to enjoy it comfortably.

It’s a historical show in Las Vegas, running for 25 years. If you’re not familiar with it, the Blue Man Group features three blue-painted performers who don’t speak, but tell their story through music, art, and humorous moments. It’s a lively, creative show that people of all ages enjoy.

They perform every day at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Luxor Hotel & Casino.

For tickets, you can visit the Blue Man Group box office, any MGM ticket outlet, Blueman.com.
