It was a special evening Wednesday night when Mark Davis, the owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, was recognized for his charitable work at Allegiant Stadium. Joined by Senator Marilyn Dondero Loop, it was a night to celebrate Davis’ philanthropic efforts alongside other like-minded individuals and organizations.
13th annual Grant A Gift Autism Foundation
The 13th annual Grant A Gift Autism Foundation gala brought together supporters, donors, and advocates to raise awareness for children with autism and their families. Davis’ contributions to the community go beyond his support for autism. His generosity extends to donating to local schools or providing aid during natural disasters. In an interview, Dave was asked about coach Josh McDaniels’ of Raiders football team and why he got fired. He commented that after much deliberation, it was best for the team to part ways with them.
The special evening event that Wednesday drew in a crowd of 850 supporters. In his speech, Davis expressed his gratitude for the fact that the stadium could be used for charitable purposes like that, stating that “it’s so easy to give back.” In the event program, Dave’s bio was described as a “visionary, and community builder” in the ever-evolving story of Las Vegas. To which He smiled and wished he knew who wrote that description of him.
He read it again & said, “If I had a kid, I’d want them to marry that person.” The writer was none other than Emily Hayes, director of marketing and events at Grant-A-Gift.
Burton’s magic show
In the meantime, Burton’s magic show is scheduled to resume its performances on Nov 19, after the pandemic forced things to halt for almost a year. For those Unfamiliar with Burton Nathan, he’s a famous magician and has been a part of multiple shows in Las Vegas. Burton Nathan is no stranger to death-defying stunts and captivating performances. From locking himself in a box with seven showgirls suspended from the ceiling to dazzling audiences at the V Theater.
Back in March 2005, Nathan pulled off a PR stunt that captured the attention of Las Vegas and beyond. He spent seven days locked inside a box with seven showgirls, suspended from the ceiling in the Aladdin Casino (now known as Planet Hollywood Casino). The stunt garnered much media attention and solidified Nathan’s reputation as a daring and innovative magician.

He later went on to open his show, “Nathan Burton Comedy Magic,” at the V Theater inside the Aladdin Casino. He spent seven days locked inside a box with seven showgirls, suspended from the ceiling in the Aladdin Casino (now known as Planet Hollywood Casino). This solidified Nathan’s reputation as a daring and innovative magician. He later went on to open his show, “Nathan Burton Comedy Magic,” at the V Theater inside the Aladdin Casino. This time, the show is at the former Famous Footwear annex between FlyOver Las Vegas and Hard Rock Cafe. Starting Nov 19.
