As Autism awareness continues to grow, Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent) is proud to support two Las Vegas-based Autism non-profits. The two non profits are Families for Effective Autism Treatment of Southern Nevada (FEAT) and Sunshine Nevada Organization.
Both have received a total of $12,000 in contributions from Broadbent. It’s a generous donation that will help both organizations continue to provide essential programs and services specifically designed for the Autism community.

In case you do not know, Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent) is a comprehensive environmental, water resource and civil engineering establishment. One of its fundamental values is giving back to the communities in which it resides and operates.
As Kirk Stowers, principal geologist and environmental division manager at Broadbent & Associates, puts it, Supporting organizations like FEAT and Sunshine Nevada Organization is a cornerstone of who they are as a company because they believe in making a positive impact where it matters most, in their own communities.
Executive director of FEAT expressed her gratitude
Executive director of FEAT, Jennifer Strobel, has warmly expressed her gratitude for Broadbent’s generous contribution towards their Parents Night Out program, which plays a crucial role in providing much-needed respite to parents of children with autism.
This donation will undoubtedly go a long way in helping FEAT continue its mission of supporting families and individuals affected by autism in Southern Nevada. To understand the magnitude of this gesture, one must appreciate that the FEAT program provides four hours of supervision for children with autism and their siblings. During this time, the children engage in various activities such as games, crafts, rock climbing, sports, and even karaoke while being well-fed and surrounded by friends. Therefore, getting a donation of 12000$ from Broadbent is a big gesture, as it helps make the program even more enriching for the children and their families.
Sunshine Nevada Organization
President of Sunshine Nevada Organization, Christopher Bache, also expressed his genuine gratitude towards Broadbent, saying that the camps would not be possible without the generous support from sponsors like them. Sunshines’ mission is to provide autistic children with an authentic summer camp experience filled with singing, dancing, laughter, and love. Through organizations like FEAT and Summer Camps, children with autism can feel a sense of belonging.
